Friendship Day 2021: Friendship Day is commended yearly on the main Sunday of August. It is an uncommon event which commends the ties of fellowship and valuable obligations of harmony between individuals. 

This year, it will be commended on August 1 in India. It is additionally celebrated on July 30 out of a few different pieces of the world. 

History :

Companionship Day was first celebrated in Paraguay in 1958 as International Friendship Day. It was begun by one Joyce Hall, who was the author of Hallmark Cards, in 1930. It was Hall's plan to stamp a day on which individuals would praise their fellowships. 

The United Nations denoted the nectar adoring tubby bear Winnie the Pooh as the Ambassador of Friendship in 1988, and July 30 was assigned as International Friendship Day in the 65th UN's meeting in 2011.
